Filled in middle of winter 2017 this 20L single cask Whisky is full of big Port characteristics. Think dried fruit and spiciness.
Its complexity has been intensified due to exposure to the extremely variable Tasmanian climate and the high wood to spirit ratio of the small cask.
As is the case with all the Nonesuch whiskies this expression has been hand-crafted at our family distillery in rural Tasmania from grain that we select, grist and ferment onsite before double distillation in our bespoke copper pot still.
