A double distilled spirit is produced using the barley and pristine water for which Tasmanian malt whisky is renowned world-wide. To this impeccable spirit we add Sloes that are foraged from country hedgerows around Tasmania.
The colour is a rich, ruby red. The nose is slightly fruity with subtle notes reminiscent of plum and raspberry along with plenty of malt notes. On the palate the fruit is full and carries a slight astringency that simply "works" with the malt and lingers on the palate.
