Matured over 4 years in a single 40 litre cask that was seasoned with Pedro Ximenez (PX) sherry.
The cask was shipped "wet" to us. This means that an amount of the sherry remained in the cask, soaking into the wood and preventing the staves drying out during transport.
The whisky from this cask has delivered a deep colour and on the palate comprises notes of coffee and chocolate along with raisins and nuts.
