MARTINI

  • 70ml Nonesuch Gin
  • 15ml Dry Vermouth

1. In a mixing glass filled with ice cubes, combine the gin and vermouth, adjusting the vermouth to taste.

2. Stir for 30 seconds.

3. Strain into a well chilled cocktail glass.

4. Garnish with olives (1 or 3) or a lemon twist.


GIMLET

  • 45ml Nonesuch Gin
  • 30ml Lime Juice
  • 1 Teaspoon Simple Syrup

1. Combine gin, lime juice, and simple syrup in a cocktail shaker. Add ice and shake until chilled. Strain into a chilled cocktail glass.

2. Garnish with a lime wheel.


FRENCH 75

  • 10ml Nonesuch Dry Gin
  • 10ml Orange Liqueur
  • 10ml Lemon
  • 5ml Sugar
  • Sparkling White Wine

1. Mix the gin, orange liqueur and lemon juice in a flute.

2. Top with chilled bubbly.


NEGRONI

  • 25ml Nonesuch Gin
  • 25ml Vermouth
  • 25ml Campari
  • 1 Orange

1. Pour the gin, sweet vermouth and Campari into your favourite rocks glass over ice. 

2. Stir (as little or as much as you prefer) and garnish with a strip of orange zest.


SOUTHSIDE

  • 50ml Nonesuch Dry Gin
  • 20ml Lime Juice
  • 15ml Sugar Syrup
  • 6 Mint Leaves

1. Add the gin, fresh lime juice, sugar syrup and the mint leaves into a cocktail shaker. Shake well and then strain it into a chilled Martini glass. 

2. Garnish with one of the leaves from the shaker.


SLOE GIN OVER ICE

The purist’s way to drink sloe gin.

  • 50ml Nonesuch Sloe Gin
  • Garnish (Optional)

1. Gently pour the Sloe Gin into a tumbler over ice. 

2. Enjoy on its own or garnish with lime, lemon or an orange wedge.


SLOE GIN & TONIC

The classic Gin and Tonic has always been the definitive drink on our balmy evenings and sunny days. Now, it has a rival.

  • 30ml Nonesuch Sloe Gin
  • 75ml Tonic

1. Fill a highball glass with ice. By fill we mean right to the brim, not just one or two little ice cubes. 

2. Pour in the sloe gin and top it up with tonic. 

3. Stir briefly to combine the two and garnish with orange, lemon, lime strawberry or anything else that you prefer.

4. You can also substitute the Tonic with Bitter Lemon for an equally easy to make, refreshing summer drink.


SLOE CHAMPAGNE FIZZ

This is a cocktail to impress with. Nonesuch Sloe Gin also matches wonderfully with Champagne and the egg white delivers a dash of light froth.

  • 25ml Nonesuch Sloe Gin
  • 25ml Freshly Squeezed Lemon Juice
  • 25ml Simple Syrup
  • 1 Egg White
  • Champagne

1. Combine the first four ingredients in an empty cocktail shaker without any ice and shake. 

2. Make sure you shake before adding in any ice so that the cocktail properly creams. 

3. Now add in some ice and shake again. 

4. Strain the mixture into a cocktail glass or a white wine glass and top it up with Champagne.


SLOE MOTION

  • 25ml Nonesuch Sloe Gin
  • Brut Champagne

1. Pour the Sloe Gin into a chilled champagne flute.

2. Top it up with Champagne and garnish with a twist of lemon peel.

3. Take care and only use the zest of the lemon as the white pith under the skin will cause the drink to taste bitter.


SLOE GIN SOUR

  • 50ml Nonesuch Sloe Gin
  • 20ml Simple Syrup
  • 25ml Lemon Juice
  • 1 Egg White

1. Add the Nonesuch Sloe Gin, simple syrup, lemon juice and egg white into a shaker.

2. Shake everything without ice. 

3. When mixed well, add ice and shake again until chilled. 

4. Strain into a cocktail glass.


SUFFRAGETTE

  • 30ml Nonesuch Sloe Gin
  • 30ml Dry Vermouth
  • 30ml Sweet Vermouth
  • Dash of Orange Bitters
  • Lemon

1. Put the sloe gin, dry vermouth, and sweet vermouth in a mixing glass filled with ice and stir until well chilled. 

2. Strain into a cocktail glass and Garnish with a lemon twist.

SLOE CHARLIE CHAPLIN

This cocktail was originally created in honour of the star of the silent screen. It might seem as if it will be fairly sweet but the dryness and slight astringency of the Nonesuch Sloe Gin balances out this cocktail perfectly. 

  • 25ml Nonesuch Sloe Gin
  • 25ml Apricot Brandy
  • 25ml Lemon Juice

1. Add all three ingredients to an ice-filled cocktail shaker. 

2. Shake well and strain into a chilled cocktail glass. 

3. Finally, garnish with an orange or lime twist.


SLOE GIN FIZZ

  • 30ml Nonesuch Sloe Gin
  • 30ml Nonesuch Dry Gin
  • 20ml Lemon Juice
  • 30ml Simple Syrup
  • 90 – 120ml Soda Water

1. Shake the gin, lemon juice and simple syrup with ice and strain into an ice-filled highball glass. 

2. Top it up with soda, garnish with a slice of orange and a cherry and serve.


BLACKTHORN MARTINI

  • 30ml Nonesuch Sloe Gin
  • 20ml Sweet Vermouth

1. Stir ingredients together with ice and strain into a cocktail glass. 

2. Garnish with a twist of lemon peel.


RED DEVIL

This delicious cocktail is simple to put together and certain to be the life of the party.

  • 30ml Sweetened Lime Juice
  • 15ml Triple Sec
  • 15ml Vodka
  • 15ml Amaretto
  • 15ml Southern Comfort
  • 15ml Nonesuch Sloe Gin
  • 120ml Orange Juice
  • Lemon Wedge and/or Cherry for garnish

1. Add the ingredients, in the order listed above, to an ice filled tall glass. 

2. Leave it as is or give it a gentle stir and then garnish.


MISTLE-SLOE

  • 50ml Nonesuch Sloe Gin
  • 115ml Schweppes Bitter Lemon
  • 20ml Lemon Juice
  • 15ml Grenadine
  • 1 wedge Lemon

1. Fill a tumbler or highball glass with ice cubes, then add Nonesuch Sloe Gin. 

2. Add lemon juice, grenadine and fill the glass with Schweppes Bitter Lemon.

3. Garnish with a lemon wedge.

ALTERNATIVE: Use 25ml Nonesuch Sloe Gin and 25ml Nonesuch Dry Gin to give your cocktail more oomph!


HOT BUTTERED SLOE GIN TODDY

  • 35ml Nonesuch Sloe Gin
  • 100ml Apple Juice
  • 10ml Cranberry Juice
  • 10ml Pomegranate Juice
  • Knob of Unsalted Butter
  • 1.5g sugar (or a few grams more or less to your taste or substitute honey for the sugar)
  • 1 Clove (optional)
  • Cinnamon stick (optional)

1. Mix the Nonesuch Sloe Gin, and the juices and clove (if using) in a saucepan and heat but do not boil.

2. Using a cinnamon stick, stir in a knob of butter, sugar (or honey) to taste then remove the stick. 

3. Serve in hot drink glasses.

4. To make more, just multiply the quantities by the number of guests you’d like to serve. (Except for the cinnamon stirring stick of course. No need for a new stick for each drink)

5. Serve in a hot drink glass.


THE MILLIONAIRE

The Millionaire Cocktail is a classic cocktail that has stood the test of time. This is the original Millionaire Cocktail from the 1930's Savoy Cocktail Book.

  • 5ml Nonesuch Sloe Gin
  • 5ml Apricot Brandy
  • 5ml Rum
  • Dash of Grenadine
  • Juice of 1 Lime

1. Pour all the ingredients into a cocktail shaker filled with ice. 

2. Shake well and strain into a chilled cocktail glass.


SLOE GIN TODDY

This unique cocktail is one for those days when the winter weather has set in. 

  • 1 tsp Honey
  • 4 Whole Cloves
  • Pinch of Cinnamon
  • 35ml Nonesuch Sloe Gin
  • Hot Water
  • Whole Orange
  • Cinnamon Stick

1. Add the honey & spices to a heat proof glass and pour in hot water, leaving room for the Sloe Gin. 

2. Add the Nonesuch Sloe Gin, squeeze in the orange and stir until honey is melted. 

3. Serve with a cinnamon stick to garnish.


HAYLEY'S WINTER SPRITZ

  • 30ml Nonesuch Sloe Gin
  • 30ml Aperol
  • 60ml Prosecco
  • 60ml Soda Water
  • Ice

1. Put some ice cubes into a large glass then pour in the Sloe Gin and Aperol.

2. Top up with the Prosecco and Soda Water.

3. Garnish with a slice of orange (or 4 or 5 raspberries).
