Gin Cocktails
Martini
- 70ml gin
- 15ml dry vermouth
In a mixing glass filled with ice cubes, combine the gin and vermouth.
Note: Adjust the amount of vermouth to your taste.
Stir for 30 seconds.
Strain into a well chilled cocktail glass.
Garnish with olives (1 or 3) or a lemon twist.
Gin & Tonic
The ratio of Gin to Tonic is a matter of personal taste and can vary from 1 Part Gin to 1 Part Tonic through to 1 Part Gin to 3 Parts Tonic.
In a highball glass filled with ice cubes, pour the gin then top it with tonic.
Stir well.
Garnish (we suggest a twist of lime or lemon with Nonesuch Dry Gin)
Gimlet
- 45ml gin
- 30ml lime juice
- 1 teaspoon simple syrup
Combine gin, lime juice, and simple syrup in a cocktail shaker. Add ice and shake until chilled. Strain into a chilled cocktail glass.
Garnish with a lime wheel.
FRENCH 75
- 10ml gin,
- 10ml orange liqueur
- 10ml lemon
- 5ml sugar
- Sparkling White Wine
Mix the gin, orange liqueur and lemon juice in a flute and top with chilled bubbly.
Negroni
25ml gin
25ml vermouth
25ml Campari
1 orange
Pour the gin, sweet vermouth and Campari into your favourite rocks glass over ice. Stir (as little or as much as you prefer) and garnish with a strip of orange zest.
Southside
- 50ml gin
- 20ml lime juice
- 15ml sugar syrup,
- 6 mint leaves.
Add the gin, fresh lime juice, sugar syrup and the mint leaves into a cocktail shaker. Shake well and then strain it into a chilled Martini glass.
Garnish with one of the leaves from the shaker.
