At Nonesuch, we don’t make whisky by committee. We make it by hand, batch by batch guided by curiosity, patience, and a willingness to do things a little differently.
This Triple Grain Whisky is a refined expression of our signature style, distilled on our small copper pot still and matured in small French oak casks. It brings together barley, rye, and corn to create a whisky that’s layered, expressive, and unmistakably Nonesuch.
The Nonesuch Triple Grain Style
Our Triple Grain style holds a unique place in Tasmanian whisky history. It was the first style of whisky produced in Tasmania to include corn in the mash bill, challenging convention while remaining deeply rooted in traditional pot still distillation.
This release continues that philosophy, building on the foundations of our earlier Triple Grain whiskies and refining the balance between spice, sweetness, and structure.
The Grains

Barley – The backbone of the spirit, delivering malt richness and depth

Rye – Adds spice, energy, and a lively edge through the mid-palate

Corn – Brings rounded sweetness, warmth, and a subtle nod to classic New World styles, without overpowering the Tasmanian character
Maturation
Matured in small French oak casks, selected for their ability to enhance texture and complexity. The smaller format encourages greater interaction between spirit and wood, delivering notes of vanilla, gentle spice, and toasted oak while allowing the grain character to remain front and centre.
